Prot0
Turn your ChatGPT ideas into shareable web prototypes
Prot0 turns a ChatGPT conversation into a functional, shareable web app in under a minute. Describe what you need. Prot0 creates it, publishes it, and gives you a public link, without code, hosting, Git, or deployment setup. Build landing pages, forms, multi-page experiences, collaborative tools, interactive interfaces, and web apps with persistent data, assets, workspaces, roles, and version history.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m Jonathan, the maker of Prot0.
I built Prot0 because ChatGPT can generate a web app in seconds, but making that app accessible to someone else still involves files, hosting, Git, deployment, and infrastructure.
For non-technical users, that is often where the idea stops.
Prot0 closes that gap.
Describe what you want directly in ChatGPT, and Prot0 creates it, publishes it, and gives you a public link in under a minute.
No visual builder. No IDE. No deployment setup. Just a conversation and a link.
You can create landing pages, forms, portfolios, multi-page experiences, collaborative tools, interactive interfaces, and web apps with persistent data.
Projects can also include assets, workspaces, collaborators, roles, and version history.
The goal is to make creating and publishing a web app feel as simple as sending a message.
Prot0 is still evolving, so I’d really appreciate your feedback:
What would you build first with Prot0?
Thanks for checking it out 🚀
one thing that would make this way more useful for me is the ability to require a simple login before sharing an app, especially for internal tools or anything with a database behind it. right now it feels like every link is fully public by default.
Made a quick internal form for our team's onboarding feedback and it actually worked on the first try, link and all. The version history is a nice touch I didn't expect.
One thing that would be really useful is a way to export the underlying prompt history alongside the app itself, so you can see exactly what instructions produced the final result. It would make iterating or handing off a project to someone else way less painful.
A custom domain option would be huge, since right now everything lives on a prot0 subdomain that feels a bit throwaway. Letting us point our own domain at a generated app would make it way more useful for client work or side projects where I actually want to share something that looks legit.
Took a rough prompt about a team retro board and had a working page with persistent notes in under a minute. Honestly surprised it handled versioning and roles without me touching a config file.
Took it for a quick spin to build a simple feedback form for my side project and the public link worked right away. Genuinely surprised how painless it was, no fiddling with deployment or assets.
honestly this is wild, i typed out something like a quick team signup form and got a working link in under a minute, no setup at all. kind of feels like cheating.
love how fast this is but it would be great to have a way to password protect a link or set it to private, since right now everything seems public the moment it is generated and not everyone wants their draft apps visible to the world
One thing that would make this a no-brainer for me is a simple way to password protect or restrict access to a published app. Right now everything seems public by default, which is great for landing pages but limits how I can use it for anything with even mildly sensitive data.
Tried turning a quick brief into a working app and got a clean public link in seconds, no setup fuss. The persistent data and version history are surprisingly solid for something this fast.
A custom domain option would be a huge upgrade. Right now everything lives on a prot0 subdomain which is fine for quick experiments, but for anything I actually want to share with clients or use as a real landing page I need it on my own URL. Even a simple CNAME or subdomain mapping would make the difference between a fun demo and something I can confidently put in front of people.
