When I switched to AI coding tools full-time, I realized I had no record of the prompts that produced my code - weeks of context disappearing into chat history. So I built a Claude Code plugin that logs every prompt to your git repo automatically.
What it does:
- Captures every prompt + git state + outcome to .prompts/
- Open format (PLF) so any tool can read or write it
- Built-in redaction for secrets and PII — never leaves your machine
Why it matters: The signal to your projects is becoming more important than the implementation code.
