Hi Product Hunt! I'm Omar, the maker of Pricemend.
Most big retailers will refund the difference if something you bought drops in price within a set window. Hardly anyone claims it, because it means re-checking every item on every receipt until the window closes.
Pricemend does that part for you:
- Snap a receipt and it reads every item
- It checks prices every day until each store's window closes
- You get an alert (and email, if you want) when something drops, plus a reminder before time runs out
- In the store, scan a tag to see today's online price before you buy
It works today with Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta, Best Buy, American Eagle / Aerie, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, Staples and Costco. It's on the web now, and the iPhone app is coming soon with the same account.
I'd love your feedback: which stores should we add next?
