PreMan helps developers test, host, and debug MCP servers and AI agent tools. Import a REST API, expose it as a hosted MCP server, issue scoped agent tokens, test tool calls, and inspect audit logs in one place. It is built for teams moving from normal APIs to APIs that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and internal agents can safely call.
Hey Product Hunt, I’m Alspencer, building PreMan.
The idea came from a problem we kept hitting while building with MCP and agent tools: traditional API testing does not fully answer whether an LLM can discover a tool, understand its schema, call it with the right arguments, handle auth, and produce a useful result.
PreMan is a Postman-style workspace for MCP servers and AI agent APIs.
Today it lets you:
- turn REST APIs into hosted MCP servers
- test MCP tools and regular API endpoints
- issue scoped tokens for agents
- inspect audit logs for tool calls
- create API descriptions that are easier for LLMs to use
We’re looking for teams building MCP servers, internal agents, or production tool-calling APIs. If this is something you’re wrestling with, I’d love blunt feedback and pilot users.

Who hunted PreMan?
PreMan was hunted by Alspencer Omondi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
