I'm Endi, a 21-year-old developer from Albania. Posthawk started out of pure frustration.
Every side project I built needed email. Signup confirmations, password resets, notifications, all of it. And every single time the setup was the same mess: copy DNS records by hand, wait for propagation, find out the SDK doesn't work on Cloudflare Workers, and then give up on receiving email entirely because apparently that's an "enterprise" feature.
So I built the thing I kept wishing existed. One API that sends, schedules, and receives email. The SDK is fetch-based so it runs anywhere your code deploys (Next.js, Workers, Bun, whatever). Domains set up their own SPF, DKIM and DMARC records. Templates are just React Email components.
Funny thing, the MCP server started as a weekend experiment and ended up being my favorite feature. It means Claude or Cursor can send email straight from your projects. Felt like the future, so I made it a first class feature instead of a demo.
It's free up to 3,000 emails a month, no card needed. And if you don't want to depend on some random guy from Albania for your email infra (fair), the whole thing self-hosts with Docker Compose.

Love seeing edge-native transactional email finally getting attention, this fills a real gap for Next.js and Workers users. One thing that would make adoption much easier for me would be a built-in bounce and complaint webhook receiver that automatically syncs suppression lists back to the SDK, so I don't have to wire up SES or Postmark callbacks myself to keep my sender reputation clean.

The setup felt almost too easy, just dropped it into my Next.js project and it was sending before I even refreshed. Loving that it runs at the edge instead of another round trip to a third-party API.
love that this plugs straight into the deploy pipeline without a third party. one thing that would push me to switch from resend is built in bounce and complaint webhooks with retry logic, so failed sends dont just disappear into the void. would save me from wiring up another service just to keep my list clean.
