I’m super excited to be back sharing a major update for Post2Podcast.
When I first launched, the goal was simple: make it effortless for WordPress users to turn their written content into engaging, two-speaker audio conversations without needing a microphone. The response was fantastic, but I kept hearing one major piece of feedback from the community: the desire for even more expressive, premium voice options.
What's new in this release?
We’ve officially integrated ElevenLabs! You can now use your favorite ElevenLabs voices to generate ultra-humanized, studio-quality podcasts. If you prefer our original setup, you can still seamlessly use our default Kokoro models.

honestly the free self-hosted tier is a nice touch. one thing i'd love to see is letting users upload a short audio sample of their own voice so the plugin can generate episodes that actually sound like them, basically a voice clone option. would make the whole thing feel way more personal for bloggers who want their audience to hear them in a consistent voice.
