Portlivo shows every dev server and port running on your Mac: which project it's from, the command, uptime and whether it's answering. Open, restart, kill, tail logs or share any of them in one click. Native, no account, one-time price.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Anmol, and I made Portlivo because I kept losing track of my own dev servers.
You know how it goes: a Next.js app on 3000, an API on 8000, a Vite project you forgot about on 5173. Then something says “port already in use” and you’re back in Terminal typing lsof -i :3000 and hunting for a PID to kill.
Portlivo lives in your menu bar and shows every local dev server and port on your Mac in one list. Any of them is one click away:
Open it in your browser
Kill or restart it
Tail its logs
Share it to your phone with a QR code
There’s also a command palette, keyboard shortcuts and a CLI if you’d rather stay in the terminal.
It’s a native Mac app for macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel, notarized by Apple. There’s no account and no subscription. Try it free for 7 days, then it’s $8.99 once (early-bird price for the first 50 licences).
I’d love to hear how you manage your local servers today, and what you’d want Portlivo to do next. I’ll be here all day answering questions. 🙏
you asked how people manage this. badly, is the answer😂 i usually have four or five up because i keep a worktree per ticket, and they're all the same repo - so the project name doesnt help me tell them apart.
does it show the path or the branch anywhere? that's the bit id need.
right now i just lsof -i :3000 and kill -9 whatever shows up, happens almost daily when a hot reload hangs
The project name next to each port looks more useful than another list of PIDs. Nice to have logs there too, especially when several apps are running.
