Poker Trainer
Learn Texas Hold'em from zero, one short lesson at a time
Poker Trainer teaches Texas Hold'em to people who have never played. 28 short lessons take you from the suits to hand rankings, betting and pot odds on a 3D card table. Then play a bot that explains why you lost. Free, no ads, in English and Swedish.
A while ago I went to a poker night at a friend's place, and I was completely lost. Not just with the rules. I didn't know the suits, or whether a queen beats a jack. I spent most of the night asking questions and folding.
So I built the thing I wish I'd had that night. Poker Trainer starts from actual zero: the four suits, which cards are high, what a pair is. From there it works up to hand rankings, how a hand of Texas Hold'em plays out, betting, and later the odds stuff.
When you know the basics you can play against a bot called Chip. After every hand it tells you why you won or lost, and which lessons to go back to.
It's free, with no ads and no account needed. It also works in Swedish.
If you've ever sat at a card table feeling lost, I made this for you. Tell me where you get stuck or what's missing.
