PlantyTime is a plant care companion designed for everyday use—not just identifying a plant once and forgetting about it. Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Martin, the solo developer behind PlantyTime.
I started building it because I noticed that most plant apps either focus on a single feature or quickly push users toward expensive subscriptions.
My goal was to create something people would actually keep using after the first identification.
Over the last four months I built everything myself—from the frontend and backend to the on-device ML models.
Some of my favorite features are:
• Offline plant recognition
• Leaf health analysis
• Plant health history
• XP, levels and achievements
• An interactive globe where you can explore plants shared by users around the world
I'd love to hear your honest thoughts, answer questions, and learn what you'd like to see next.
Thanks for checking out PlantyTime!

PlantyTime was hunted by Martin Bozsó. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
