I started building this project late in 2025 when I felt that so many apps were on the cusp of something great. Bullet journal apps, zettelkasten apps, and annotation apps all lacked the functionality to allow you to communicate with your notes, events, habits, etc. which meant that your notes could sit in the aether and do nothing. They were just disjointed thoughts that served no function. With PendragonX, users can find links between notes, communicate with notes, use their notes to write books, and move from thought to action. They no longer stood at the cave, they could finally enter it, so they would emerge out of the other side, more than they were before.
