I built PayClear because every subscription tracker I tried wanted one of two things: my bank login or a monthly fee to track my monthly fees. That felt backwards.
PayClear is deliberately boring about your data:

The free tier covers up to 5 active subscriptions. The full unlock is a one-time lifetime purchase — because a subscription tracker that charges you a subscription would be a bit too ironic.
The trade-off of going local-first is real: no cross-device sync (yet). I'd genuinely love to hear how you'd want that solved without a server — encrypted file handoff? iCloud/Drive as dumb storage?

Love the privacy-first angle here, the no account and no bank connection setup is exactly what I want for something tracking my payments. As a small improvement, it would be great if you could add a quick way to mark a subscription as cancelled so it stops alerting me, but stays in the history with the actual end date so I can see what I was paying before.
Been looking for something like this that stays local. One feature I think would really help is the ability to export data as a simple CSV right from the app, so I can share or back things up without needing an account or third-party service.
