Parcours
Learn French from beginner to an A2 you can prove.
If you are self-studying French for TCF Canada or TEF Canada, you already know the problem: apps like Duolingo grade attendance, while IRCC grades proficiency.
I built a dedicated web app called Parcours (parcours.live) to fix this for people aiming for NCLC 4–5 (A2) French points.
Instead of infinite gamification: • One single 26-module track from zero to A2. • Adaptive mock exams that give you an estimated NCLC band with confidence intervals. • Study groups & private leaderboards where you rank with friends based on your actual mock score—not who opened the app the most days in a row. • Duels to challenge each other on identical exam items. • Verifiable score cards to track progress.

Who hunted Parcours?
Parcours was hunted by James Efienemokwu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
