I built OpenAnyFile because I was frustrated with how difficult it can be to open different file formats. Many websites only support a handful of file types or require installing desktop software.
My goal was to create a fast, browser-based platform where anyone can open, view, and convert hundreds of different file formats in one place—without downloads or complicated setup.
Building this meant solving challenges around supporting many file types while keeping the experience fast, responsive, and privacy-friendly across desktop and mobile.
This is just the beginning. I'm continuously adding support for more formats, improving performance, and introducing new tools based on user feedback.
