Open for Sales turns one prompt into a full sales campaign. Give Companion your products and a CSV of contacts. It checks every persona, scores fit, writes an editable sequence across calls, email and WhatsApp, then builds a live dashboard to track it. It's the outbound side of Open, the customer communications engine already running AI support across voice, chat, email and more. One engine now answers the customers you have and reaches the ones you want next.
I'm Waseem from Open, and today we're launching Open for Sales: one prompt, one campaign.
Most of you know Open as an AI customer support platform. Our engine, Agent 5, already answers customers across voice, web chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS, social and Slack. In support it averages a 77% automation rate with 95%+ accuracy. We kept coming back to one question: if an AI agent can hold a great conversation with your customers, why can't it also start one with your next customers?
Outbound today takes a whole stack of tools. The list lives in one place and the sequence in another, then there's a dialer, a WhatsApp account and a report someone builds by hand every Friday. We wanted all of that to sit behind a single prompt.
Here's how it works
1. Start with one prompt. Give Companion your products, describe what you want in plain English ("Build me a sales campaign to reach out to potential buyers and book the meeting for me") and attach your contacts as a CSV. That's the whole setup.
2. Reach the right people. Before anyone is contacted, Open checks every contact against the persona you're targeting. Ask for more and it adds a fit score for each person, so you know who to reach first.
3. Get a sequence on every channel. Open writes the outreach step by step across calls, email and WhatsApp, with real waits between steps. It feels like a person following up, not a blast.
4. Edit every detail. Every call brief, email template and WhatsApp message can be changed until it sounds like your team. Nothing goes out that you can't edit.
5. Watch it live. Ask Companion App Builder for a reporting dashboard and you get one: audience, contacted, in progress and replied, a step-by-step view, a breakdown by channel and the latest replies. Publish it and share it with your team.
Who it's for
We built it for founders and small teams who need a real multi-channel campaign without an ops hire. It's also for SDR teams who want the agent to make the first touch so they can spend their time on the people who reply, and for growth teams who want to go from a CSV to a live campaign in minutes.
What I'm most excited about: it's not a separate tool
Open for Sales is the outbound side of Open, the customer communications engine you may already use for support. When a prospect replies, the conversation doesn't move to another system. They keep talking to the same AI, with the same knowledge, on the same channel. When it's time for a person, your team picks it up with the full context. Every AI decision is visible.
It connects to the stack you already have: Zendesk, Intercom, Salesforce, HubSpot, Freshdesk, Twilio Flex, Zapier, Make and n8n, plus a REST API, an MCP server and webhooks. It's GDPR-compliant, with EU data residency and automatic PII redaction.
Support and sales have always run on separate tools, even though they talk to the same customers. With Open, a single engine handles both: it answers the customers you have and reaches the ones you want next.
We'd love your feedback, especially on which channels you want next and what you'd want to see on the live dashboard. I'll be here all day answering questions 🙌
the prospect replying and staying with the same AI that already knows the account is what makes sense to me, most outbound tools hand off to a diffrent inbox and the context is gone
for the email step, does it send from our own mailbox and domain??? and is there a daily cap per inbox so a fresh domain doesn't get burned in week one???
