Hey everyone! 👋 So excited to finally share this with you.
I actually built this tool out of personal necessity. Recently, I wanted to use AI to review my health records, but obviously, those PDFs contained highly sensitive personal data. I went looking online for a PDF redaction tool, but I quickly realized almost all of them upload and process your documents on their own company servers.
I definitely didn't want my medical history sitting on a random cloud just to black out a few lines of text.
So, I built this zero-knowledge, local WebAssembly tool just for myself to solve that problem. But then I realized—if I need this, probably a lot of other people handling sensitive data do too.
Because everything is processed 100% locally in your browser, your files never leave your device. There are zero server uploads, no telemetry, and any temporary storage is cryptographically secured.
