Hi Product Hunt! I built Gate after watching AI coding agents retry the same failing API call for as long as they ran. Each call is small, so a normal rate limit never fires, but the database and the API bill fill up.
Gate sits in front of your API. Every app or agent gets its own key and a list of the exact calls it may make. Your real API key stays inside Gate, encrypted. A loop breaker refuses the 10th identical call in a row with a 429 before it reaches your API, and every call is logged without storing bodies.
