I built NutriSnap because I kept running into the same frustration most nutrition apps just don't understand Indian food. You'd snap a photo of dal, roti, or a thali, and the app would either fail to recognize it or give you wildly inaccurate numbers, because it was trained mostly on Western dishes.
So I built an AI model specifically trained to recognize and break down the nutritional values of Indian cuisine snap a photo of your meal, and get instant, accurate calorie and macro info, even for regional dishes that most apps completely miss.

Scanned my plate of dal chawal and it nailed the portions way better than I expected. The macro breakdown actually feels tuned for Indian home cooking rather than western dishes.
Finally someone built this for Indian food instead of pretending a samosa is a salad. Love that it's just a snap and the macros show up, no logging drama.
Super useful concept for Indian food specifically since most apps miss our portions. One thing that would help me a lot: please add a way to log homemade recipes so it remembers that my dal tadka is always around 180 calories per bowl instead of making me snap it every single time.
One thing I'd love to see is the option to save frequent meals as shortcuts so I don't have to snap and wait every time I eat my usual roti and dal. Would make daily tracking way faster.

honestly the Indian food recognition is pretty solid, threw a random thali pic at it and the macros actually made sense. the fat estimate was a touch high on the paneer dish but that is kind of splitting hairs. handy little tool
Finally something that actually recognizes my thali properly, the dal and roti portions came out surprisingly close to what my dietician calculated. Wish it had the option to log water intake too.
