I never planned to launch Nexus publicly. Honest truth.
It started because I was frustrated. As a working professional actively job hunting, I was tired of opening 20 different browser tabs just to check which companies were hiring. Job boards were full of ads, outdated listings and spam. Every promising tool eventually asked me to pay or sign up.
So one weekend I just started building. A simple scraper. Just for me.
The idea was straightforward — go directly to the source. Instead of relying on third party job boards, why not scrape the actual career pages of top companies and bring everything into one clean app? No middlemen. No recycled listings. Fresh jobs straight from Google, Apple, Amazon, Meta and 251 others every single day.
I added a no login rule early on because I asked myself — why do I need your email to show you a job listing? I don't. So I never built it.
Then friends started using it. Then strangers. Then I started seeing users from USA, Egypt, Spain, Russia and Brazil and I realized this small personal tool had quietly become something people genuinely needed.
That's when I decided to launch on Product Hunt.
The whole codebase is open source. No monetization plan. No investor pressure. Just a tool built by someone who uses it daily and wants it to stay honest forever.
