Your arrival soundtrack. The perfect track plays the moment you pull in — gym, pub, friend's drive. Use your Apple Music sub or songs you already own (a 99p/99c iTunes track works forever). Inspired by Ready Player Two.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jason, founder of RMEMBER LTD and the maker of Nearplay.
I built this because of one specific page in Ready Player Two: a song that plays the moment you arrive somewhere meaningful. I couldn't find an iPhone app that did it natively, so I made one.
Nearplay lets you save a place — your gym, your grandparents' house, the pub you go to on Fridays — and pin a song, an album, or a playlist to it. As you arrive, your music takes over whatever was playing. Main character energy, automated.
Two ways to use it:
• An Apple Music subscription gives you the full catalogue
• Or, if you don't subscribe, individual tracks you already own (including 99p/99c iTunes purchases) work just as well
"Buy one song for one place, yours forever" is genuinely my favourite thing about the model.
There's also Roadtrip Drops — set a start and end, pin music to three points along the journey (just after departure, halfway, and arrival). Nearplay maps your two most likely routes and places triggers on both, so you can take whichever road and the music still finds you.
It's been the most rewarding thing I've ever built. Massive thanks to my brother for testing every TestFlight build at unsociable hours.
🎁 Product Hunt special: drop your email at nearplay.live and we'll send you a promo code for 1 month of Premium, free — only for PH visitors today.
I'll be in the comments all day — would love to hear which place you'd pin a song to. Honest feedback (good or brutal) is genuinely what I'm here for.

You can start a track at the chorus or drop to really have that 'Entrance' music feel - then follow it up with your playlist to continue the vibes.

Nearplay was hunted by Jason Bradshaw. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
