Hi Product Hunt! I'm Dipanker, and I built ncert.ai.
Most school students in India learn from NCERT textbooks. They're good books, but you can only read them. You can't move a ray diagram, an exercise doesn't tell you why your answer is wrong, and there's nobody to ask at 11 pm before a test.
ncert.ai writes an original companion for each chapter, following the NCERT syllabus, with:
- Simulations you can drag. Move the object in front of a lens and watch u, v and m change.
- Quick checks that explain why an answer is wrong, not only that it is.
- An AI tutor that answers from the chapter you're reading and links back to the section it used.
- Hinglish versions, because that's how a lot of students actually think.
- For Classes 1–5: picture stories read aloud word by word, matching activities and printable worksheets.
235 chapters are live so far. That covers all of Class 1, most of Class 9–12 Science and Maths, and Class 9–10 Social Science and English. It's free, and you don't need an account to read or ask.
It's unofficial and not affiliated with NCERT. The chapters are my own explanations, and every one links to the official NCERT PDF.
