Hi everyone,
We've just launched Nano Banana 2 Lite on Product Hunt — a fast AI image generator powered by Google DeepMind's Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite model.
You can generate images from text in about 4 seconds, or transform existing photos with image-to-image prompts. No installation needed, free starter credits available, and all images come without watermarks and with full commercial rights.
Would love to hear your feedback and see what you create with it. Feel free to try it at nb2lite.com and share your results!
The fact that you skipped the API key and Discord hoops entirely is a real gift for people who just want to make stuff fast. Four seconds feels almost suspiciously quick for browser-side generation.
Skipping the API key requirement is a nice touch, but a bulk batch queue would be even better. Letting me drop in 20 prompts at once and walk away while it processes them all sequentially would be huge for thumbnail runs.
The 4 second generation time is genuinely impressive, made iterating on thumbnail ideas way faster than I expected for something running in the browser.
4 second generation actually holds up in practice, way faster than juggling Discord bots. Clean UI and no API keys made it easy to just start iterating on thumbnails right away.
The 4 second generation time actually holds up in practice, and skipping the API setup was refreshing. Image to image handled a product photo I threw at it pretty well.
The 4 second generation is genuinely fast, way snappier than the other tools I've tested. Image-to-image worked great for tweaking product shots without losing detail.
