Mobou started with a lot of copying and pasting 😅 I was using GPT and Claude together, moving answers between them to see how each could improve the other’s work. One moment really stuck with me. I was struggling to design a game asset, and after going back and forth between the two models, the result came out beautifully. That made me wonder, what if models from different companies could work together in one place? 💡 The problem I wanted to solve was that constant switching between apps, copying answers, and explaining the same context again. I wanted to make it easier to bring different models into a problem, whether that’s a complex question, a design challenge, or something you’re building, and benefit from their different strengths 🤝 At first, I built Mobou as its own workspace. I put a lot of care into how it presented conversations and brought the models’ responses together. But while using it, I noticed something. I still spent a lot of my time in Claude or ChatGPT, so I was now switching back to Mobou! 😂 That changed the direction of the product. Instead of always asking people to come to another workspace, I started asking myself how I could bring the other models into the environment they already enjoy using. That became the pivot 🔄 Bringing GPT into Claude, or Claude into ChatGPT, so you can work with different models while staying where you feel most comfortable. It grew directly out of a frustration I kept running into myself.
