Add middle-click gestures to your Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, or MacBook trackpad. Open links in new tabs, middle-drag in compatible apps, and pinch or rotate with Magic Mouse. Tune gestures per device and exclude apps. Native macOS app with a 14-day trial that counts only days you use a gesture.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Mihail, the maker of MidClick. MidClick brings middle-click gestures to Magic Mouse and Mac trackpads, with separate settings for each device. Open links in new tabs, use middle-drag in compatible design tools, or pinch and rotate with Magic Mouse. You can tune tap timing and finger drift, exclude individual apps, and use keyboard zoom where native pinch is unavailable. It runs on macOS 13 or later, on Intel and Apple silicon. Gesture recognition happens on your Mac; MidClick does not read your clipboard, log typed keys, or record your screen. The free trial includes 14 days of actual gesture use, so idle days don't count. A one-time US$3.99 purchase before applicable tax covers three Macs and all 1.x updates. I'd love to hear which apps and gestures you use most, and where the controls could feel more natural.

Who hunted MidClick?

MidClick was hunted by Mihail Duchev. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
