Max here from MGS Music. We launched v2 a few months ago and have
been shipping quietly since. v2.1 is our biggest visual update yet —
a full redesign of the landing page and every public-facing surface
of the app.
Why we did it:
The old design leaned on a purple-gradient aesthetic that felt
generic. We wanted something that looks like it belongs to a
platform that actually cares about the craft — editorial, confident,
a little analog. So we rebuilt the visual system around an amber-
and-zinc palette, display typography, and bento layouts.
What's unchanged: we still pay out 100% of streaming revenue to
artists, we still don't claim any rights to uploaded work, and we
still don't run ads.
A few things I'd love feedback on:
· The new hero (spinning disc, "middle.man" headline)
· The bento features grid
· The pricing page side-by-side comparison
