Marma-Crypto Protocol
Cryptographic geometric watermarking via Sri Yantra & QES
Open-source dual-layer document sealing protocol. Maps a 512-bit DSTU 4145-2002 / SHA-256 digest into 24-bit micro-coordinate perturbations across 54 triple intersections of the Sri Yantra, paired with PAdES-B-LTA & RFC 3161 TSP archival signatures.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m Yaroslav, a lawyer, legaltech architect, and cryptography researcher. Today I’m excited to share **Marma-Crypto Protocol (v1.2.1)** — an open-source cryptographic geometric watermarking and sovereign document sealing suite published on **CERN Zenodo (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23436152)**.
### 💡 The Problem
Conventional digital signatures (RFC 5652 CMS / PKCS#7 / PDF signatures) detach the binary signature container from the visual geometry of the page:
1. If a PDF is flattened, printed, or stripped of its binary CMS wrapper, the visible stamp becomes a purely decorative graphic with zero cryptographic binding to the text.
2. Standard vector watermarks drawn in typical editors use low-precision rational coordinates that anyone can copy or redraw.
### 🔱 How Marma-Crypto Solves It
We discovered that the classical **Sri Yantra** — 9 interlocked triangles generating 43 sub-triangles and **54 triple intersections (*marma-sthāna*)** — forms an overdetermined system of 18 nonlinear algebraic concurrency equations (Kulaichev, 1984; Huet, 2002).
- **Theorem 1 (Euclidean Impossibility in Standard PDF Decor):** Standard vector editors produce an angular concurrency defect of $\Delta E > 10^{-2}$ rad, whereas our solver locks all 54 marma intersections to IEEE-754 double-precision machine zero ($\Delta E \approx 6.13 \times 10^{-11}$ rad).
- **24-Bit Geometric Commitment $B(K)$:** A 512-bit cryptographic digest (SHA-256 + deterministic RFC 6979 / Ukrainian National Standard **DSTU 4145-2002** over Galois field $GF(2^{257})$) is mapped into micro-coordinate perturbations $\delta_k \in [-10^{-5}, +10^{-5}]$ across an ensemble of 4,096 valid yantra configurations.
- **Archival PAdES-B-LTA Sealing:** Paired with **qes-tools**, the final PDF is sealed under **ETSI EN 319 142-1 (PAdES-B-LTA)** with an embedded ISO 32000-2 `/DSS` dictionary and qualified **RFC 3161 TSP** timestamp.
### ⚡ Try It Live in 10 Seconds (Zero Install)
1. Open the **[Live Browser Verifier](https://yaroslavbaienko.github.i...)**
2. Click **"Verify Pre-loaded Whitepaper (EN/UA)"** to inspect all 36 triangle coordinates and the DSTU 4145-2002 commitment.
3. Click **"Simulate Tamper Attack"** to watch how a single $10^{-5}$ coordinate perturbation or 1-bit text edit immediately triggers forensic rejection!
### 🐧 1-Command Install on Debian / Ubuntu (LegalTech APT Repository)
Includes CLI tools (`marma-watermark`, `qes-tools`), GTK4/Libadwaita dialogs, and GNOME Files (Nautilus) right-click scripts:
```bash
curl -fsSL https://yaroslavbaienko.github.i... | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /etc/apt/keyrings/legaltech.gpg
echo "deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/legaltech.gpg] https://yaroslavbaienko.github.i... stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/legaltech.list
sudo apt update && sudo apt install qes-tools marma-crypto-watermark
