I built Markdown Viewer because I wanted an online Markdown tool that did not require an account, upload drafts for storage, or stop at basic formatting.
The site opens directly into a working split-screen editor. You can write or import Markdown and see a GitHub-style preview update as you type.
What it supports:

I would genuinely value feedback on the workflow. Which use case should I improve next: long technical documents, academic notes, or quick README previews?
Would be great if you could add a simple toggle to lock the editor pane to a specific width so the preview stays side-by-side on smaller screens without forcing a full-screen switch. That little quality-of-life touch would make long writing sessions much smoother.
the no-account-needed approach is honestly refreshing, especially with the multi-tab editing right there in the browser. feels like someone actually thought about how writers want to work.
A collab mode where two people can edit the same doc in real time via the shared URL would make this way more useful for pairing on docs or notes with a coworker. Right now the link is view-only, which is great for sharing but missing the live editing piece.
Love that everything runs in the browser with no sign-in or upload step, and the multi-tab editor plus Mermaid and LaTeX support make it feel like a proper scratchpad instead of a toy. Honestly a really clean piece of execution.
A custom CSS option for the preview pane would be huge, so I can match my blog's typography and colors while drafting. Right now the default theme looks clean but clashes a bit with my own site's styling.
