Mana Grove
A deck builder for MTG: build, search and tune your decks
Mana Grove is a web deck builder for MTG. Every deck gets format legality checks and bracket guidance, and three built-in helpers do the heavy lifting: Grover builds and tunes decks from plain language, Scry finds cards by what they do, and Tutor suggests picks for the deck and collection you already have. Free to start, and no ads, ever. Open today in Canada, the US, the EU and the UK, with a waitlist everywhere else.
Hey Product Hunt. I'm Patrick, one of a small team building Mana Grove.
Mana Grove is a web deck builder for MTG. It's for the player who opens a deck list and thinks "this is close, but something is wrong with it" and doesn't want to spend an evening finding out what. Three helpers sit inside the builder. Grover builds and tunes a deck from plain language, including cuts, upgrades and budget swaps. Scry finds cards by what they do, so "return target creature from my graveyard to the battlefield" works as a search. Tutor suggests picks tuned to the deck and the collection you already have.
The deckbuilder itself is free, forever: format legality checks and mana statistics are never behind a paywall. Free accounts get 20 Grover messages a month, 100 Scry searches, 10 Tutor recommendations, 10 combo detections, 10 saved decks and a 1,000 card collection. Paid plans buy more Grover, Scry and Tutor, more saved decks and a bigger collection, plus collection statistics and live deck collaboration. Plus is $7.99 CAD a month and raises that to 500 Grover messages, 500 Tutor recommendations, unlimited Scry searches and combo detection, 500 saved decks and a 50,000 card collection. Pro is $14.99 CAD a month: 1,500 Grover messages, everything else unlimited, and priority support. Annual billing on any plan is twelve months for the price of ten. In the US the same plans are 7.99 and 14.99 US dollars a month, plus sales tax, and in the EU and the UK they are 5.99 and 9.99 in euros and pounds, VAT included.
For Product Hunt we have a launch code: with code GROVELAUNCH, an extra 16.67% off your first year on an annual plan (first 100 players, until November 15, 2026).
Two things we've decided we'll never do, and wrote into our terms so we can't quietly change our minds: no ads in the product, and we never sell your data. There are no affiliate links, and nothing inside the product is ever a paid placement: a Tutor pick, a Scry result or a Grover answer is never sponsored. Subscriptions are the only way this pays for itself.
Honest about the edges: we are open in Canada, the US, the EU and the UK today, and there is a waitlist for everywhere else while we finish the rest of the compliance work. It's a web app that works in a phone browser as well as on a desktop.
I'd love to hear what you brew with it, and more than that, what it got wrong. Come and break it, then tell me what broke.
