A browser extension for downloading supported Loom videos from share pages and embedded players. Start playback, let the extension detect the active media source, then save a local file for offline viewing, training, support, onboarding, internal docs, research, or archiving — without developer tools, network traces, command-line utilities, or separate desktop software.
Hey Product Hunt! I built Loom Video Downloader for anyone who needs a simpler way to keep Loom videos available offline. Loom is great for sharing, but saving videos is not always straightforward — especially when a download button is unavailable or the video is embedded somewhere else. This extension keeps the workflow inside the browser: open a Loom page or embed, start playback, let the extension detect the media source, and download a local copy. Useful for training videos, support recordings, onboarding material, internal docs, research, and personal archives. Would love feedback from anyone who works with a lot of Loom content.
