LogicMint
Turn a sentence into a hosted app—with code you own
Describe an app in plain language and LogicMint builds a working, hosted version in under 60 seconds—with auth, a real Postgres database, and a live URL. Download the full MIT-licensed source, self-host anywhere, or bring your own LLM key.
Hi Product Hunt — I’m one of the makers of LogicMint.
We built it around a simple frustration: generating a screen is easy; generating an app you can actually keep is much harder. A useful build needs authentication, persistent data, a live URL, and source code that does not become hostage to the tool that created it.
LogicMint turns a plain-language description into a working, hosted app in under 60 seconds. The output can include built-in auth and a real Postgres database, and the complete source is downloadable under the MIT license so you can self-host it anywhere.
The genuinely hard part has been reliability. Generated code can look convincing while missing important requirements, so we built a Generate-Verify Loop that checks each build against a rubric. We also made credits non-expiring and added BYOK because we wanted the cost model to feel predictable.
I’d especially value feedback on two things:
1. Does the first generated build feel complete enough to continue developing?
2. Is the handoff—from hosted app to owned source—clear and trustworthy?
I’ll be here throughout launch day to answer questions. Thanks for taking a look.
One thing I'd love to see is a simple way to wire up scheduled jobs or cron tasks from the generated app, like clearing old records or sending weekly digests. That would round it out from "build me an app" to "build me a real, running product."
Being able to describe an app and get a live URL in under a minute is wild, love the open source angle too. One thing that would make this even better is a built-in way to invite a couple of teammates or clients to view the generated app before you commit to the full source download. A simple shareable preview link with optional password protection would save a ton of back-and-forth when I'm trying to validate an idea with someone.
