Hey Product Hunt! ππΎ I'm Arthur, a self-taught dev student from Zimbabwe living in South Africa, and Lofi.Station is my first real shipped product.
The inspiration was simple...I needed it myself. Lofi music genuinely helps me focus through long coding sessions, studying and late nights, and I wanted a clean, dedicated space for it without ads or distractions.
Building it wasn't easy. I built it from a humble desk, working around a data entry job, with limited resources. There were race condition bugs, sleepless nights, and moments where I almost quit. But I shipped it anyway.
Within the first few days I got real feedback from Reddit, feature requests from the community, and hit my first goal of 5 active users.
Lofi.Station currently has 6 rooms including Chillhop, Asian Lofi, Synthwave, Hip Hop, Sad Lofi and a Pomodoro study room. More features and rooms are coming.
It's free, it's live, and it was built with a lot of love by one person πΌπ΅
