I built ListenToX because I had a problem: I was spending 45+ minutes a day doom-scrolling X, but the people I followed were posting genuinely interesting stuff — I was just consuming it wrong.
The idea was simple — what if your X feed was a podcast?
So here's what it does: you connect your X account, pick from 13 AI voices, and get a private RSS feed that works in any podcast app (Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts, etc.). Every day, a new episode shows up with audio from the accounts you follow. No more scrolling during your commute — just press play.
A few things I'm excited about:
🎙 13 natural-sounding AI voices — powered by OpenAI's TTS. We're constantly upgrading the voice library as better models become available. Right now they sound decent enough for a daily listen, and they keep getting better.
📻 Three listening modes:
Timeline — chronological, like scrolling with your ears
By Person — deep-dive into one account at a time
Smart Summary (Pro) — AI-curated daily digest that surfaces the key themes and threads from your feed
🔒 Truly private — each user gets a unique, randomized RSS URL. Not listed anywhere. We use X OAuth for read-only access only.
The free tier gives you 5 followed accounts with 6 voices — enough to try it out and see if it sticks. Basic ($14.99/mo) unlocks 200 accounts + all voices, and Pro ($29.99/mo) adds 500 accounts, Smart Summary, and on-demand episodes anytime.
