Lexfall is a minimalist vocabulary app for professionals who already speak well. Speaking English is not the same as speaking your profession's English; when high-stakes decisions are being made, nuance is everything. If you are relying on basic vocabulary, your true expertise gets lost. Lexfall delivers B2–C2 words across Medicine, Law, Business and General English through a home-screen widget that teaches you a new word every few hours. Now on the App Store.
Specializing by field instead of doing generic B2-C2 word lists is the right call - "nuance" for a lawyer and "nuance" for a doctor really are different vocabularies. The part I'd want to understand better is retention: a widget surfacing a new word every few hours is great for exposure, but exposure alone tends to fade fast without some kind of recall or spaced repetition built in. Is there any active recall step, or is it purely passive display for now?
Most vocabulary apps lack specialization and personalization. I decided to focus on high-stakes professionals in medicine, law, and business. I saw an existing vocabulary app's parent company reach $6M ARR by 2023 and saw it as a good opportunity to use a proven concept and tailor it.
It's free to test, and we have a special Product Hunt discount code: [PRODUCTHUNT]! I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Who hunted Lexfall?
Lexfall was hunted by giancarlo peysack. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
