Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Maker here. LensUp started from a tiny, recurring pain: you photograph a worksheet or a receipt, and the photo looks like a photo — gray paper, shadows, skewed edges — and it's a 4 MB file when the upload form says "under 200 KB". So I built the whole scan pipeline into the browser. Take a photo, drag four corners to fix the perspective, pick a filter (one flattens shadows, one fades colored pen marks on printed worksheets), and export a print-ready A4 PDF. If a portal wants "max 200 KB", you set 200 and it compresses toward that as far as the image allows — and honestly reports the size it actually achieved. There's an ID-card mode that lays front and back at real card size on one sheet, plus a growing set of small one-job tools around it (JPEG→JPG, resize to exact cm, meet minimum-KB limits). The part I care most about: everything runs client-side. No app, no account, no watermark — your files never leave your device. That's not a privacy footnote, it's the architecture: there is no backend to upload to. Two questions for you: What's the most annoying document-upload requirement you've ever hit? (The "signature between 20–50 KB" genre shaped half these features.) If you scan school worksheets or government forms regularly — what's still missing? Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
