I’m Narender, and I make kymo. We launched here before as a cookieless analytics tool. This relaunch is about one thing I could not stop seeing once I saw it.
Your AI visibility score is a guess.
Most AI visibility tools work like this: they type a set of prompts into ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, count how often your brand comes up in the answers, and give you the percentage as a score.
There are three problems with that:
Ask the same prompt twice and you get a different answer. The score moves between runs even when nothing about your site has changed.
The vendor picks the prompts. Those may not be what your customers actually ask.
A mention is not a visit. An assistant can name you a hundred times and send nobody.
So kymo doesn’t guess. It watches.
What kymo measures?
kymo records what AI engines actually did on your own site:
Reads. Which pages ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and others fetched to answer someone’s question, page by page, over time.
Visits. How many people arrived from an AI answer, split by assistant: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Meta AI, DeepSeek, Grok and Mistral.
Outcomes. Which of those visitors went on to complete a goal you care about, like a signup, a purchase or a demo request, and which page AI first sent them to.
You see a read, a visit and a sale on the same page. Then each page gets a plain verdict: Sending you people, No one clicked through, Dropped or New.
One real example from a job board I run: over 7 days, a “sampled” view said 5 people came from AI. kymo counted 129 people who arrived from an AI answer. The difference was real traffic that a sampled number cannot see.
Pricing
Both plans include every feature. You pay for human events only, so crawler traffic is never counted against your limit.
Solo: $9/mo or $90/yr, up to 10,000 events a month
Studio: $29/mo or $290/yr, up to 100,000 events a month
14 days free, no card required. If you go over your limit, the dashboard pauses. Your data is never deleted, and it’s all there when you upgrade.

Prompt-tracking tools vs kymo
Where the data comes from: they run prompts on a schedule. kymo reads logs of what happened on your site.
Repeatability: their score changes between runs of the same prompt. kymo counts events, and those don’t change when you look again.
Who picks what’s measured: they pick the prompts. kymo measures your real traffic.
What you learn: they tell you whether you were mentioned. kymo tells you whether AI read the page, whether people came, and whether they converted.
What it tells you to do: a score. kymo gives a list of pages that AI reads and nobody clicks through from, with a fix for each one.
You can use both. Many teams will want to know what AI says about them and whether it sends anyone. kymo is the second half.
FAQs
Does it replace Google Analytics? It can. kymo is complete cookieless web analytics on its own. Some people run it alongside GA and use kymo for the AI side.
Do I need the server snippet? For AI visitors and normal analytics, no: the script tag is enough. For AI reads (which pages crawlers fetch), yes, because crawlers never run JavaScript.
Will it slow my site down? No. The tracker is about 1.5 KB gzipped. The server snippet sends its report after your response, with a 3-second timeout, so it never holds a page up.
Does it tell me what people asked ChatGPT? It shows likely questions for each page, inferred from the page type and how AI fetched it, and always labelled as likely. Nobody outside OpenAI, Anthropic or Perplexity can see real prompts, and any tool that says it can is guessing.
Which crawlers do you recognise? GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-User, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Googlebot, Bingbot, Meta’s agents, Applebot, Amazonbot, Bytespider and more. The full directory, with how to verify each one, is at kymo.in/crawlers.
Cookies and privacy? kymo sets no cookies and stores no raw IP address or user agent. The visitor ID is a hash that changes daily. One optional first-party key remembers only where a browser first came from (a traffic source, never an ID), and you can turn it off.
What happens when my trial ends? Tracking keeps running and your data keeps collecting. The dashboard waits until you pick a plan.

kymo was hunted by Narender Charan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
