Kucedr is a personal AI assistant that adapts to you and the task at hand. Write, research, code, or create images, audio, and video. Bring your files, choose your models, and make it work your way.
Hi everyone, maker here. Kucedr started from a simple frustration: AI assistants are usually locked in a browser tab, talking about work instead of doing it.
Kucedr is a personal AI assistant that lives on your desktop. You give it a task in plain language and it actually does the work: edits files, runs commands, researches the web, drives a browser, generates images, video, and audio, and schedules recurring jobs while it's open.
Three things I cared most about getting right:
Local first. Your conversations, settings, memory, and workspace live in a local profile. No cloud account required to use it.
Bring your own AI. You connect your own providers and choose a model separately for chat, voice, image, video, audio, and scheduled work.
Transparent, not magic. Every tool call streams into the conversation with its input, output, and timing, and sensitive actions pause on a permission check.

Who hunted Kucedr?
Kucedr was hunted by Harald Bregu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
