Hey everyone! 👋
I originally built Korr for myself because I was genuinely fed up with how existing proofreading tools work.
Whenever I needed to review a long draft, a client document, or private code comments, I kept hitting the exact same walls:
- Arbitrary character limits that force you to paste text chunk by chunk.
- Everything being routed through third-party cloud servers.
- Nagging prompts to create an account or pay a monthly subscription.
So I wanted something straightforward: an app that just checks your text, runs completely on your own machine, and stays out of your way.
No signup, no tracking, and you can paste an entire 40,000 word file without it breaking a sweat.
It’s completely free, and I’d genuinely love to know what you think of the speed and workflow. I’m hanging out in the comments all daydrop any thoughts, bugs, or things you’d love to see added!
I am delighted to send you my work, I hope Cal will pay you, I await your feedback.
