The idea came from watching a friend run his AV rental business. He had a 60-tab spreadsheet to track equipment across events, WhatsApp threads with his crew to confirm what was loaded on which truck, and zero visibility into what came back damaged.
One weekend he double-booked the same tent to two weddings. He had to rent from a competitor at the last minute to cover it. That's when I realized the problem was real and worth solving.
