Hi Product Hunt! I’m Attila, the founder of Konako.
I built Konako for small independent accommodation businesses that need something between spreadsheets and complex hotel software.
The goal is straightforward: give a hostel, guesthouse, boutique hotel, campground or glamping operator one clear place to manage units, reservations, guests, check-ins, check-outs and payment records.
I’ve deliberately kept the core product focused and free to use, with no credit card required. I’m now working directly with independent properties to learn where their day-to-day reservation workflows still create unnecessary work.
I’d especially love feedback from people who run or have worked in small accommodation businesses: what part of your reservation workflow causes the most friction?
I've been traveling and staying in small guesthouses and hostels across Thailand, and I kept seeing the same thing: reservations tracked in notebooks, WhatsApp chats and messy spreadsheets. Big hotel systems are too expensive and too complex for these places.
Konako is a simple management tool built for small accommodations. The goal is to keep bookings, guests and daily operations in one place without the headache.
Right now I'm walking door to door in Bangkok, talking to owners and learning what they actually need. So your feedback means a lot:
- What would make you switch from a spreadsheet?
- What's missing?
Thanks for checking it out. I'll be here all day answering every comment 🙏
