Aloha Product Hunt! I'm Akshat, the designer on the Ka'ana team. I'm posting this for our founder, Todd, and the small crew who've built Ka'ana with him: Ash, Dan, Gopu, Harul and Suz.
If you've ever tried to pick a place to eat in Hawai'i, you know the problem: star ratings reflect everyone else's taste, not yours. A lot of the best spots spread by word of mouth, and the top-rated place isn't always the one you'd actually love.
So we built Ka'ana to feel like a friend who knows the islands and knows you. Instead of handing you another list, Ana makes the call.
How it works:
- Tell us the cuisines you love and any dietary needs, and Ana builds your Taste ID
- Ask Ana anything: "cheap poke near Waikiki," "somewhere my vegetarian friend and I will both like," "best malasada on the North Shore"
