I built iPDF after getting frustrated with tools like iLovePDF and Smallpdf — constant ads, file size limits, and paywalls for basic features.
iPDF started as a side project: a clean PDF toolbox (merge, compress, convert, split, protect…) with no friction. Then I added AI features on top — summarize a document, translate a PDF, extract data to Excel — powered by Claude.
The whole stack runs on a VPS in France, so data never leaves the EU. GDPR-compliant by design, not as an afterthought.
