Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built this template because I couldn't find a system that combined budget tracking AND stock analysis in one place. After testing 7 different apps, I stopped looking and built my own in Notion. Today it's live, and I'd love your feedback 🙏 If you have any questions about how it works, drop them below, I'll answer everything!

The framework looks solid, especially the thesis model that forces you to define an exit before entry. One thing that would make it much more useful for me would be a way to log the rationale after closing a position, so I can see later whether my original thesis actually played out and learn from the gap.

honestly this looks really solid, the investment thesis template alone is worth it. one thing i'd love to see is a simple scenario modeling tool where you can plug in things like "what if i increase my monthly contribution by 10%" or "what if my portfolio drops 20%" so you can see how your goals and net worth timeline shift without having to mess with spreadsheets on the side.

Have you considered adding a simple dividend tracking layer with projected income by month? Investors who care enough to journal theses usually want to see the passive income side too, and it would round out the portfolio section nicely alongside the fundamental ratios.

One thing that would really take this further is a simple rebalancing alert when an asset drifts more than a set percentage from your target allocation. The thesis model is great for individual picks, but most people also need help knowing when the overall portfolio is getting off balance so they can act before it matters.

This looks really well thought out, especially the thesis model for tracking why you buy and when to sell. One thing that would make it even more useful for me would be a simple way to log the news or events happening when you make a decision, so you can look back later and see what was actually going on in the world versus just what you were thinking at the time.
