Hey Hunters 👋

I’m excited to launch Inbox Zero Mail, an open-source Superhuman alternative.

I’ve been running Inbox Zero for 3 years. It started as an AI assistant for Gmail and Outlook, and grew to 12k GitHub stars and 25k+ sign-ups, including Enterprise customers.

Now we’ve built our own email client.

It’s open source, so you can self-host it or build the feature you’ve always wanted.

This looks absolutely fantastic. The recent AI tool push for Gmail management is brilliant and is seriously making me rethink my forever-long iCloud mail in favor of moving to Gmail. I love the smooth, clean UI you've developed here.

This is great! But my muscle memory with Gmail is so strong that switching to another email app feels like a lot of effort. As someone who's been using Gmail for years, what's the one thing you'd recommend I try that would make me want to switch?

For the longest time, I didn't even try Superhuman because I couldn't justify paying that much for something Gmail already lets me do for free 😅

@elie222 Inbox Zero looks like a great way to keep emails organized and save time. Love that it's open source and uses AI to sort emails and Draft replies!!

I'm excited to try this out! So far so good.

Heads up, I accidentally marked something as spam at one point and it was really hard to unmark it (I ended up opening up Gmail to unmark it). Besides that, it's been really cool.

Hi team, what's the major difference between this product and grok bot/muse connected to all my email inbox. They do that pretty well for me today.

Congrats Elie on launching Inbox Zero Mail. Going from an AI layer on top of Gmail to your own open-source client is a big step, and self-hosting makes it an option for teams that can't hand their mail to another vendor. When the AI drafts a reply in my voice, does it learn from each account's sent mail separately, or one shared style across every inbox I connect? I write very differently from my work and personal addresses.

Really nice work on this, Elie! Looks great, congrats on the launch. Look forward to checking it out.

Running three years on Inbox Zero and then deciding to build the whole client around it is a bold move, and the split inbox plus bulk unsubscribe combo is why I stopped opening Gmail in a tab.

Elie, congrats on the launch. Been following your work on Inbox Zero for a long time and love all the progress you've made so far.
