Impact Gate
Know which consumers break before you merge an API change
Impact Gate reviews OpenAPI changes against connected consumer code, showing engineering teams which downstream services may be affected and linking potential impact to evidence for review.
Hi Product Hunt! Impact Gate started from a simple pain: changing an API field and finding out weeks later which downstream service broke. It connects to your GitHub, reviews pull request API changes against every consumer it can find across your repositories, and links each potential break to evidence you can check. Warn-only by default; your team stays in control. Try the demo, connect your GitHub, and start now - happy to answer any questions.
