This started as a problem I kept hitting.
Every time I'd sit down to do outbound or write something for our audience, the first question was always "who exactly are we trying to reach?" And every time, the answer was something fuzzy like "B2B founders" or "sales leaders at growing companies." Useful enough to start. Useless once you actually try to find those people on LinkedIn.
When I looked at the customers we already had, the pattern was right there. Roles overlapped. Companies were at similar stages. They wrote about the same handful of things on LinkedIn. The signal was sitting in profiles I'd already pulled up a hundred times. I just hadn't lined them up next to each other.
