Honest Project tool for PMs - BerryPM
Intelligent project management with critical paths & drift
Ever been asked by leadership why a milestone slipped three months ago, then spent the evening digging through old sprints and tasks for the answer? BerryPM is built for that PM. It locks approved baselines, tracks drift day by day, separates the task that caused a delay from the ones that just inherited it, and lets you rewind the plan to any past date to see exactly how it looked. Live critical path, sprints, docs, GitHub and Slack included. Free for up to 4 users.
Hi Product Hunt Community,
I’m Ratish, the maker of BerryPM.
If you’ve managed a project, you know this moment. Leadership asks why a milestone slipped back in March, and the honest answer is “let me get back to you.” You then spend the evening going through old sprints, task histories and Slack threads, trying to rebuild what the plan looked like at the time.
I built BerryPM so PMs can answer that question straight from the tool.
What it does:
1. Locks your approved baseline, and records every change to it
2. Tracks drift day by day against that baseline
3. Separates the task that caused a delay from the ones that just inherited it
4. Lets you rewind the plan to any past date and see exactly how it stood
Under that is a live Critical Path engine: early and late dates, float, and all four dependency types with lag. Before a project starts, an 18-point readiness check flags gaps like unclear scope or an overloaded owner.
Your team keeps working the way they do now: sprints, Kanban, Confluence-style docs, a service desk with tickets linked to the exact task, intake forms, GitHub and Slack.
To be upfront: the history begins when your project starts in BerryPM. It can’t recover plans from before you joined, but from day one, every change is recorded.
Pricing: free for up to 4 users, no card needed. Starter is $5 and Growth is $8 per user per month, and every new workspace gets a 15-day full-access Growth trial.
I’d love your feedback, especially from PMs and delivery leads. What’s the hardest “what happened?” question you’ve been asked about a project? I’ll be here all day answering.
