I'm Peter, and I've been building Habo - a free, open-source habit tracker for iOS and Android - for a few years now. Today I'm sharing Habo 4.0, which brings the most-requested feature ever: cross-device sync.
But I wasn't willing to do sync the lazy way.
Most apps that sync your data store it in plaintext on a server you're asked to trust. I built something different. Habo Sync is zero-knowledge and end-to-end encrypted. Your habits are encrypted on your device using a Master Password before they ever leave it. Our servers only see ciphertext - I genuinely cannot read your data, even if I wanted to.
