A status page would have absorbed almost all of those messages. But the cheapest serious option was Statuspage at $29/month, and the free alternatives all looked dated. I wanted something in between: clean, hosted, fairly priced, and small enough that any team could just use it.
GreenPing does roughly five things and it does them well:
