Goalfinder
Turn your frustrations into web app ideas worth building
Describe a frustration, interest, or problem — Goalfinder generates 6 web app ideas that address it. Refine them with an AI strategist, publish the ones worth building, and let the community fork ideas and submit prototypes. From "I don't know what to build" to a live demo, in one place.
I built Goalfinder because I was the target user.
I wanted to start a business. I knew how to build — I genuinely love developing — but I kept hitting the same wall: I didn't know what to build. So I started hunting for problems. I'd go through forums, talk to people, make lists. Some ideas felt too small, others too crowded, most just didn't stick.
Then I had the obvious-in-hindsight moment: the problem I was struggling with most right now was figuring out what to build. So I built something to solve that.
The idea behind Goalfinder is that good app ideas almost always come from real friction — something that genuinely frustrates you or people around you. The tool forces you to start there, not with "what's trending" or "what could I monetize." You describe the frustration, it generates directions, and you refine from there.
The community layer came later. I noticed that a lot of people have the same frustrations but different skill sets — someone might publish a goal they'll never build, and someone else sees it and does. That handoff felt worth building around.
Would love to hear what ideas it generates for you, and whether they actually feel relevant to what you typed in. That's the thing I'm still sharpening.
