Hi Product Hunt, I'm Jordan and I made Glyphscape.
I wanted my desktop to feel a little more alive without turning into a screensaver. Glyphscape draws animated scenes out of glyphs, natively in Metal, right behind your windows. There are 40 of them across four families, Flow, Spectral, Cities and Figures, from a snowy mountain village to pop-art portraits that glitch.
You can also bring your own photo. Glyphscape renders it as ASCII, dots, pixels or dither and adds drift, zoom, orbit, ripple or wave motion. Your images stay on your Mac.
