Gepetto drives a real WKWebView from one sentence. Each step, the model reads the page as a numbered list of what it can touch, picks one action, and the agent does it and checks what changed. You watch every click land, can pause or take over at any moment to sign in, solve a captcha, or pay, hand it back with a note, and approve anything that buys, sends, or deletes before it happens. Works with any model down to small on-device ones, with a native SwiftUI panel. SPM, MIT, iOS 16+, macOS 13+.

Top comment

Hey, I am Jared, solo dev behind Gepetto. I built it because browser automation usually runs blind, and I wanted to watch every step and grab control when it matters. Gepetto drives a real WKWebView from one sentence, shows you every click as it lands, and lets you pause and take over to sign in, solve a captcha, or pay, then hand it back with a note. It asks before anything that buys, sends, or deletes, and works with any model down to small on-device ones. Where does the takeover flow still feel clunky to you?

Who hunted Gepetto?

Gepetto was hunted by JC. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
